KRB is looking for a motivated hard working individual to be a part of the procurement department. This position is required to work 7AM-4PM Monday through Friday. This role reports to the Purchasing Team Leader.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Create purchase orders for stock and non-stock parts

  • Enter order acknowledgements and confirm pricing, lead times, and notes associated with the orders.

  • Work with the procurement team to trouble shoot supply chain issues and price increases. Notify the production team of any lead time problems and work to come up with solutions..

  • Works closely with Production to maintain continuity of supply and to avoid material shortages.

  • Assist the accounting department with price discrepancies on invoices as well as receipt issues..

  • Follow up on past due orders and unconfirmed orders. Trouble shoot any issues associated with this.

  • Work closely with receiving/shipping to trouble shoot delivery and quality issues for purchased parts.

  • Build relationships with suppliers and do site visits when needed to help vet new suppliers.

  • Assist the purchasing department with cost savings ideas and projects to help reduce overall spend.

  • Create and send out RFQs for current and new parts.

  • Provides customer service to all internal departments, i.e. engineering, sales, accounting, service, shop.

  • Basic data entry to keep our system up to date with current pricing, lead times, and vendor contact information.

    Ability to Read, write and understand English. Able to sit for extended periods of time. Able to see and hear. Basic computer skills with Word, Excel, PDFs, Outlook, Teams.Comfortable on the phone negotiating with suppliers. Creative thinker with ability to work around problems and find solutions.Epicor E10 or Vantage experience is a plus

    Required Education/Experience

    High School diploma or GED

    1-3 years of related experience

    Bachelor’s degree preferred

    Description of Work Environment

    This position will work in both a climate-controlled office environment and a plant environment. The noise level in the work environment will range from moderate to very loud. Exposed to any number of elements but with none present to the extent of being disagreeable.
