Assembles machines and equipment according to drawings, shop orders and knowledge of machine.

Understands the sequence of job progression and is able to follow each of the step in the progression.

Assembles parts or products such as parts, subassemblies, machines and other equipment, working at bench or floor.

Fastens parts together with bolts, screws or other fasteners using hand tools, portable power tools.

Operates hydraulic presses, grinders or MIG welder to assist in assembly operation of machine assemblies or complex parts as required by job assigned.

Touch up painting of sub-assembles and equipment prior to assembly and shipping.

Performs inspection to ensure that an acceptable quality product is being constructed.

Able to run and test machines that are built as required.

Able to work with limited supervision.

Clearly understanding of how to read a Traveler.

Clear understanding of how to read a Bill of Materials.

Complies with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Demonstrates LEAN practices to improve efficiencies and eliminate waste through continuous improvement.
